How to Obtain the UMS ID

Follow the steps below to export the IGEL Universal Management Suite (UMS) ID to a certificate file form the UMS Console or from the UMS Administrator.

Export from UMS Console

To export from the UMS Console:

1. Open the UMS Console and go to UMS Administration > Global Configuration > UMS ID.

   

   The name of the UMS ID is shown in the field labeled Main UMS ID. 

2. If you want to keep the name, copy the text or note it down for later use. Alternatively, you can use any other name later in the IGEL License Portal.

   

3. Click Export UMS ID and save the certificate file (UMS_ID.crt) for later use.

   

Export from UMS Administrator

To export from the UMS Administrator:

1. Open the UMS Administrator and go to UMS ID Backup.

   

2. Click Export UMS ID and save the certificate file (UMS_ID.crt) for later use.
