We will create a standard profile and a master profile which we assign to a thin client.

  • Standard profile: You assign to the thin client a standard profile in which (gray) the language and the keyboard layout are set to German.
  • Master profile: You assign to a higher-level directory a master profile. This specifies the background image and the language is set to English (red).
The settings that arrive at the client are:
    • Gray: Keyboard German (standard profile)
    • Red: Background image and language setting English (master profile)

The "German" language setting from the standard profile has no effect on the thin client because the master profile has set the language parameter to English. If the parameter settings are the same, the master profile overwrites the values of standard profiles.
