Magnify screen (zoom)

You can magnify the screen content. The effect is equivalent to the screen magnifier in full screen mode with Microsoft Windows: All fonts and graphics are magnified using the same factor; in this way, a virtual screen is created which is larger than the available monitor size. Thus, the user sees a magnified detail of the complete screen content; he can relocate the detail by moving the mouse to the edge of the screen.

  1. If necessary, change to the advanced dialog by clicking Advanced.
  2. Activate Zoom.
  3. Set Virtual Resolution to the highest value that is possible. Example: 1920x1200
  4. Set resolution to a lower value. This value simulates the real resolution of the screen. Example: 1280x800
  5. Click Apply.
The screen content is magnified. The scaling factor results from the relation between virtual resolution and simulated real resolution.

When the same content is displayed on several screens (shadow screens), all screens show the same detail. However, you can set the zoom for each screen individually.
