Accessing IGEL Setup in Appliance Mode

This document is only valid for WES 2009 and WES7 and not for Windows 10 IoT!

Symptom

When using the appliance mode the local IGEL setup application is not accessible directly.

Problem

Within the appliance, all other local applications are hidden.

Solution

To start the IGEL setup within the appliance proceed as follows:

1. Hold down the Shift key while logging on to the appliance.
2. When the local logon window has opened, log on as local administrator.
   IGEL setup will start automatically after logon.
