Failed to Access Local File When Running WES7 Update Via USB-Stick

Symptom

You want to apply a Windows Embedded Standard 7 (WES7) firmware snapshot via USB stick but you get the message Failed to access local file.

Problem

The firmware update fails.

Solution

Do not use a USB 3.0 port (marked by blue plastic in socket),

Use a USB 2.0 port instead.
