HDX Flash Redirection for XenApp and XenDesktop

This description is only valid for Windows Embedded Standard 7, not for Windows 10 IoT. With Windows 10 IoT, the Flash player is integrated into the Internet Explorer.

Symptom

Which Adobe Flash version on the thin client supports HDXFlash redirection?

Problem

The Flash web installer doesn't work on IGEL devices.

Solution

Use the following links for the standalone installer:

• For XenDesktop up to 5.5 and XenApp up to 6.5 you'll need Flash Player for Internet Explorer (IE).
• For XenDesktop >5.5 and XenApp >6.5 you'll need Flash Player for other browsers.

On the server you'll need the Flash Player for the current browser.
