How to Merge IGEL Product Packs in the IGEL License Portal
Starting January 1, 2026, the Workspace Edition license will be replaced by the new IGEL Subscription License (ISL). This only applies to newly purchased licenses. Existing Workspace Edition licenses will remain valid. For this reason, Workspace Edition licenses (WE) and IGEL Subscription Licenses (ISL) are listed separately in the IGEL License Portal (ILP) and cannot be merged. Further information can be found here.
Merging IGEL Product Packs helps consolidate licenses within the same Subscription Key. This can simplify license management, especially after co-terming. The resulting Product Pack contains all unique devices from the selected packs.
Use Cases of Merging IGEL Product Packs
Co-terming
When co-terming is performed, multiple Product Packs from Subscription Keys with earlier expiry dates are moved to the key with the latest expiry. Once they are under a shared Subscription Key, you can merge them into a single Product Pack.
Merging Product Packs
Log in to IGEL Customer Portal at https://support.igel.com/csm and open the ILP.
Your dashboard is shown.
Open Licenses from the left-hand navigation menu.
Select the Subscription Key that contains the Product Packs you want to merge.
In the Subscription Key detail view, use the checkboxes to select two or more Product Packs within that Subscription Key.

Review the selection and click the Merge button in the lower-right corner of the screen.

A confirmation dialog appears.
Click Yes, Proceed to confirm.

The selected Product Packs are merged into one.
The new Product Pack resulting from the merge will inherit its Product Pack ID from the most recently updated Product Pack - specifically, the one listed at the top among the selected items.
