Citrix: Changing Password Issue
A user has to change the password within session to Citrix XenDesktop 7.x or Virtual Desktop server and receives an error message during the process:
Warning: Could not connect to the Citrix server.
The password change option is disabled on XenDesktop 7.x server (server default setting!).
Enable password change option on your Citrix server:
- Go to Citrix StoreFront MMC
- Open page Authentication
- Set Authentication Method = User name and password
- Click Manage Password Options (right panel)
- Enable an option allowing the password change (Any time or When expired)
