Chromium Browser Global Session in IGEL OS

IGEL OS has a built-in Chromium browser. On this Setup page, you can set the default browser for IGEL OS, enable or disable hardware video acceleration and change the startup behavior of the Chromium browser.

The settings will be valid for all Chromium browser sessions.

Menu path: Sessions > Chromium Browser > Chromium Browser Global

Use IGEL Setup for configuration

The settings made in the IGEL Setup or the UMS configuration dialog will be effective.

The settings made in the IGEL Setup or the UMS configuration dialog will not have any effect on the behavior of Chromium.

Default web browser

Defines which browser will be chosen by the system, e.g. for opening Citrix Storefront.
Possible options:

Firefox Browser*
Chromium Browser

Hardware Video Acceleration

Hardware video acceleration is enabled for the Chromium browser.*
