What is New - Knowledge Base Updates for IGEL OS 12.7.2

Power Management

A new default value was added for IGEL Setup > System > Power Options > System > System suspend/shutdown on inactivity. If the timeout for System suspend/shutdown on inactivity is more than 20 minutes, a warning about the increased energy consumption will be shown. See System Power Options in IGEL OS 12 .

Extended Network Configuration

New registry keys added for extended configurations for verifying server certificate during 802.1x authentication in wireless and LAN connections in IGEL OS 12. See How to Configure Server Certificate Verification during 802.1x Authentication in IGEL OS 12 .

Permanent Storage of the User-Provided Credentials for the Enterprise Networks (Wi-Fi and Ethernet)

New registry keys added for saving the username and password entered by the user for enterprise networks, see How to Configure the Permanent Storage of User-Provided Network Credentials (Wi-Fi and Ethernet) .

Certificates Enrolled via the UMS as CA Proxy

New settings page added. When your UMS is configured as a CA proxy, you can provide the data for the desired certificate here. See Certificates Enrolled via the UMS as CA Proxy.

Different Monitor Setups are Stored

When the endpoint device is connected to different environments, such as when the user switches between different workplaces, it will attempt to store each monitor setup.

OpenConnect VPN Tray App Added

The OpenConnect VPN Tray App allows you to control the OpenConnect VPN app. For details, see Tray Applications in IGEL OS 12.
