Configuring Audio on the NComputing RX420/440(IGEL)
Overview
The NComputing RX420(IGEL) supports digital audio via USB and HDMI and analog audio via a 3.5mm jack. The user can select a device using the audiomixer.
Selecting a USB Headset on the Endpoint
Open the audiomixer, e.g. by right-clicking on the desktop and selecting Sound Preferences from the context menu. For further starting methods, see Sound Preferences.
Check if the appropriate profile is selected. For a headset, this should be Analog Stereo Output + Analog Mono Input.
To make sure that the audio output is working, click Test sound and then click the speaker symbols. You should hear a test sound on your headset.
To make sure that the audio input is working, click the Input devices tab and speak into your headset's microphone. If the VU meter is reacting, the sound input is working correctly, and you can click Close.
