How to Assign a Product Pack to a UMS ID in the ILP

Starting January 1, 2026, the Workspace Edition license will be replaced by the new IGEL Subscription License (ISL). This only applies to newly purchased licenses. Existing Workspace Edition licenses will remain valid. For this reason, Workspace Edition licenses (WE) and IGEL Subscription Licenses (ISL) are listed separately in the IGEL License Portal (ILP) and cannot be merged. Assigning a Product Pack to a UMS ID links the pack’s licenses to a specific UMS instance.Once assigned, the UMS can use those licenses for devices it manages.

You may assign Product Packs when setting up a new UMS environment, when reorganizing license usage, or when preparing for a deployment.

• Make sure the Product Pack is available.

• Confirm you are working in the correct company account.

• You must have permission to manage Product Packs.

To Assign a Product Pack

1. Log in to IGEL Customer Portal at https://support.igel.com/csm and open the IGEL License Portal (ILP). The dashboard is shown.

2. In the ILP navigation, go to Hub › UMS ID.

3. Locate and click the UMS ID you want to assign Product Packs to.

5. The detail view of the UMS ID opens, and shows all the Product Packs assigned to that UMS ID.

4. Click Assign Product Packs in the lower-right corner.

The Assign Product Packs dialog appears.

5. In the dialog, select one or more available Product Packs from the list.

   1. Each entry shows the Product Pack name and its Licenses Used count (for example, 7 / 83).

   2. You can scroll through the list; filtering and searching are not available in this dialog.

6. Here you have to options;

   1. Click Confirm to assign the selected Product Packs.

   2. Click Cancel if you want to close the dialog without making changes. The assigned Product Packs now appear in the Product Packs list of the selected UMS ID.

Verification

• The new packs are listed under the UMS ID’s Product Packs table.

• The Licenses Used column updates automatically as devices begin consuming licenses.

• The assignment is also visible from Licenses › Subscription Keys, under the UMS ID column.

• You can assign multiple Product Packs to one UMS ID.

• Each Product Pack can belong to only one UMS ID at a time.

• License usage updates may take a few minutes to synchronize.
