How to Unassign a Product Pack from the UMS ID in the ILP
Unassigning a Product Pack removes its association with a UMS ID. After unassignment, the Product Pack is no longer used by that UMS instance for license distribution or reporting. The devices and license consumption within the Product Pack remain unchanged.
This is useful when reorganizing license usage, retiring a UMS installation, troubleshooting assignment issues, or preparing for a migration.
Before you start
Verify that the Product Pack is no longer in active use by the selected UMS.
Make sure you have permission to manage Product Packs.
Confirm that another UMS ID is ready to receive the licenses if they will be reassigned later.
To Unassign a Product Pack
Log in to IGEL Customer Portal at https://support.igel.com/csm and open the ILP. The dashboard is shown.
In the ILP navigation, go to Hub › UMS ID.
Select the UMS ID that currently has the Product Pack assigned.

The UMS ID detail view opens.
In the list, select the checkbox next to the Product Pack you want to remove.

Here you have two options:
Click Remove at the bottom-right corner.
Click Cancel if you want to stop the process.
The selected Product Packs are now unassigned from the UMS ID.
Verification
The removed packs no longer appear in the UMS ID’s Product Packs list.
In Licenses › Subscription Keys, the UMS ID column for those packs becomes blank.
Unassigning does not delete licenses; it only removes their association with a UMS.
