In the User Management area of the IGEL Universal Management Suite (UMS) Web App, you can manage your own user, and, depending on your permissions, manage other users and user groups. You can also configure Identity Provider (IdP) clients and manage IdP roles. The available features are grouped in tabs as described below.
Administrator accounts permission
The tabs available in the User Management area depend on the permissions of the logged-in user:

Users without the Administrator accounts global permission can only access the My User tab.

Users with the Administrator accounts global permission can:
-
access all the tabs, including Users, Groups and Identity Provider Roles tabs.

manage users, groups and IdP roles, for example, set passwords and permissions for users.

My User Tab Overview
In the My User tab, you get an overview of the currently logged-in user. Here you can:

1: Change Password: Change the password for the user, see How to Change User Password in the IGEL UMS Web App.

2: Effective global permissions: Check the user’s effective permissions (calculated from assigned roles and groups), see Effective Rights in IGEL UMS.

3: Membership: View the groups the user belongs to.
Users Tab Overview
List View
When you select the root node in the structure tree, the Users tab displays the list view.
In the list view, you can:

1: Create: Create a user.
-
2: Change Password: Change the password for the selected user, see How to Change User Password in the IGEL UMS Web App.

3: User list: View all users. Use the Filter to search for specific users.

4: Action buttons: Manage the user accounts selected from the list, including:

Rename

Delete
-
Assign Group
-

Details View
When you select a user from the structure tree, the Users tab displays the details view.
In the details view, you can:

Identity Provider Roles Tab Overview
List View
When you select the root node of the structure tree, the Identity Provider Roles tab displays the list view.
In the list view, you can:
