This section describes the manual deployment of licenses. With UMS 5.08.100, Automatic License deployment (ALD) is available, which is the recommended method. For further information, see How to Set Up and Use Automatic License Deployment (ALD).

After downloading license files for UMA or UDC3 from the IGEL License Portal (ILP), use the UMS to roll out the licenses.

A single license file may contain licenses for many devices.

  5. Click (+) (Add) to open a File Chooser and select a license file.
  6. Click OK in the File Chooser.
