The IGEL Managed Containers (IMC) app adds support for running OCI-compliant containers on IGEL OS. Container images from customer-managed registries can be configured and deployed centrally through the IGEL UMS Web App.
The solution requires licensing for both the IMC app and the UMS management feature.
IGEL Managed Containers Add-On License
You need the IGEL Managed Containers Add-On License to use the IMC app on the IGEL OS 12 devices.
For information on how to manage and run containers, see IGEL Managed Containers.
If the IMC app is installed without a license, it will not be possible to run the app on any device.
Standard UMS License
You need the Standard UMS License to activate the management feature in the IGEL UMS Web App.
The license is included in the following IGEL OS Editions:
